Scan to Email in Microsoft 365

Legacy SMTP settings are missing when you try to set up a physical multifunction device, so we must use a third-party service. Ever since Security Defaults have been  implemented on new tenants, Microsoft 365 legacy authentication protocols have been blocked. Even without the Security Defaults in place, you would still want to block these protocols for security reasons.

The ”go-to” vendor for this is SMTP2GO, who has a specific setup article for connecting your Microsoft 365 service to SMTP devices.
